Chile is also home to Easter Island. This ancient place is home to the giant stone heads that are famously referenced in many movies. This location is full of history and beauty.
When in Chile, be sure and visit Torres Del Paine National Park. This park is filled with amazing nature. Torres Del Paine offers amazing mountain views as well as spectacular glacier views. There are over one hundred different bird species that live in this park. The park offers camping and boating and other recreational activities.
Some of the greatest snow sports, such as snowboarding and skiing, can be done in South America. The tallest mountains in Chile and Columbia, during the winter, are covered in so much snow that the shredding is spectacular. Some mountains have snow on them all year around.
The many things that can be done in South America alone could make someone want to travel there. There is nothing like experiencing these wonderful lands that are filled with so much history and beauty. South America holds so many different climates, such as snowy mountains, volcanic parks, swampy forests, and beautiful beaches. From the visual pleasures to the tasting pleasures, there is no reason not to visit this amazing continent. Reading would never give you the full experience.
