You can further add to the good vibrations of the forest with a brisk walk around the woods. Moving your body and staying active has been shown to improve your mood as well.
5. Mindfulness Mood Boosting
Waking up and rushing out of the front door in the morning is a recipe for serious mood swings. It’s not surprising you’re miserable since you haven’t had a moment to gather your thoughts.
Taking a few minutes in the morning to meditate or be mindful can help put you in a better mood for the day. Research on mindfulness has been demonstrated to reduce depression, pain, and stress.
