Exante Regulation And Security
When we started searching for this company, we came across a dilemma. Why? Because this broker is registered in Malta under the name XNT Ltd, and at the same time, in Cyprus under the name Exante Ltd. This all wouldn’t be so unusual if we haven’t found two websites looking completely the same, with a different brand name, and a different address. Malta came on the FATF gray list because they were hosting too many fraudulent companies. Accident? We don’t think so.
The director of Exante in Malta was accused by the SEC of fraud, which is why the company moved to Cyprus and decided to rebrand. But you cannot hide public facts. Exante Ltd is the successor of XNT Ltd.
What Can You Trade With An Exante Broker?
Exante broker offers its clients a wide range of trading assets including currency pairs, commodities, stocks, and indices.
The company uses its own Exante web trader. The platform is available in 15 different languages. This broker offers an Individual and Corporate account to its clients. The leverage goes up to 1:30, while the spread starts from 0.3 pips.
You have to be careful since this broker does not offer negative balance protection nor the guaranteed stop loss.
Exante Accepts Traders From
This broker accepts traders from almost all countries. The only exception we were able to find is that they do not accept clients from the US along with other restricted entities, but they did not specify these entities. Based on their regulation, they are authorized to operate only within the EEA zone. So, if you’re from overseas, know that this broker does not have a regulation in your country.
Deposit And Withdrawal Methods
The minimum deposit with this company is very high, it requires a minimum of 10,000 EUR (50,000 EUR for companies) to start a trading account. The transfer can be done via wire transfer only. The broker is charging fees for withdrawals and inactive accounts. However, their website is not very transparent when it comes to numbers, so we cannot delve much into the fees nor the withdrawal methods.
Conclusion About Exante
Exante is a broker with a suspicious past and a dubious present. This broker, besides the fact that it was established in Malta first until the owner got investigated by the SEC, also does not share crucial details on their website. What are the fees and commissions for its service? Because of all this, we can conclude that this broker is not safe to trade with, and there are many better options on the market.
