It’s time you owned up to your mistakes and be accountable for the situation that you are in. If the people around you suck, change your environment instead of blaming them for your shortcomings.
2. Stop procrastinating
If you set goals but never achieve them because you keep making excuses of why you shouldn’t do anything to help you achieve your goals, stop it now. You always say you can’t do it because you don’t have the time for it. It’s always one excuse after another and there will never be a perfect time to do whatever you had set out to do. Just make time to do it.
3. Quit being too hard on yourself

You should set standards for yourself and for the kind of people you want around you. Stop settling for average and mediocre standards. Push yourself to go for something greater.

Sleep is great but once your alarm goes off, don’t hit the snooze button for 5 or 10 minutes of extra sleep. This is because when you go back to sleep after you’ve been woken up, your body starts another sleep cycle that can’t be completed in that short period of time. This only gives you a bad start to your morning.
6. Quit problem drinking
Don’t turn to alcohol every time things are not going your way. According to Stop Drinking Expert, problem drinking only covers deep things that don’t go away once you’ve stopped drinking. You might end up battling dry drunk syndrome which is the existence of practices and mindsets that defined the problem drinker before rehabilitation.

80 percent of smartphone users check their phone immediately they wake up. To have a more productive day, don’t check up on other people’s lives on social media. Also, don’t check your emails first thing you wake up. You can do that in the office.
